Challenger Little League

Information about the Challenger Division of Little League. Mr. Elias wants to expand this league to include as many children as possible. New members will be accepted between now and the middle of May. There are leagues in several counties. Contact him for more specific informatin regarding where you live.

All children ages 6 through 18, or who remain in school, with physical or mental challenges are encouraged to play.
Wheelchair and leg braces, gross motor skills
Lower level skills
Cerebral palsy, heart and lung disabilities, and other health impairments.
Developmentally Disabled.
Players who would benefit from a slower paced game.
Every player on the roster is in the batting order and shall play defensively.
All players bat in every inning played
Games are Sunday afternoons
Length of games are 3 innings or 1 ½ hours.
Challenger Division players wear the same uniforms and safety equipment as other Little Leaguers.
